Life has pressure

Life has pressure. That doesn’t change. Sometimes It’s up, sometimes it’s down.


It might be good for us to remind ourselves from time to time to make a few changes or do a few things we know are good for us just to help ourselves – but like regularly, like exercise or vitamins, like things we add to our lives regularly because they’re good for us and also maybe we even like them (or some of them).


We’re all just machines after all, our bodies need maintenance. I just got an oil change (a little late I admit) and I know it’s important for my car, so I do it to help my car last well and long. I hope  we all last well and long!


So for sure if you can: get outside! Smile at someone or at least smile at yourself – pro tip  - your face actually recognizes if you smile and it will help your mood even if you’re actually feeling a little cranky that day!

Pet your cat, or dog, or rabbit, or whatever pet-able animal you’ve got and spend some time with an animal. They are totally present focused so they’re a great role model for us. Also they’re good for our blood pressure, emotional, mental health and even help keep us sharp as we age.


Have some soup – it’s hydrating, nourishing and recommended by mothers everywhere!


Communicate with people you’ve meant to reach out to but haven’t yet. They might like to hear from you – if not and you communicate with them anyway; you haven’t lost a thing!
