What’s your intention for your life?
What does that even mean?
Does your life have meaning? Should it?
If it does, does it have meaning for you or for others or both?
In therapy sessions, people sometimes tell me they feel like they’re just drifting or that life seems meaningless to them. It has no purpose. It's like they’re just sitting, waiting to die.
Ok, so we can just sit and let life go by or we can manage it, at least a little bit.
The thing is that time does go by. We use it up. We look back. We’ve had a good time or a bad time. Maybe all of life right now feels like a bad time. Maybe it just feels pretty great.
We know life brings change. Even when we do nothing, life can do something. We can be relieved when life brings us good, and sad or angry when it doesn't.

Yup, that’s us, sitting and waiting for life to do stuff to us – right?
NO!!!
Life is limited. There’s only so much of it to go around. Remember anything that’s rare is harder to buy, costs more and sometimes we can’t even find it to buy – like health or days or minutes of your life. So, then what?
Maybe the meaning of life is figuring that out – at least part of the meaning. What’s your meaning?
